Just released

We are thrilled to announce that registrations for the highly anticipated Grimsey Island Puffin Photography Holiday in 2026 are now open! With limited spots available. The opportunity to visit in 2026 has already been seized by several photographers wanting to visit.

Grimsey Island dates for 2026

Soaring cliffs surround Grímsey Island, located off the coast of Iceland & the southwest side features magnificent basalt columns; this is one of the best places to photograph the Atlantic Puffins of Iceland. The vegetation is abundant & consists of marshland, grass & moss. Thousands of seabirds live on the island, such as white wagtails, snow buntings, kittiwakes, razorbills, guillemots, & an abundance of puffins & terns. Seals & whales may also be found in the vicinity.

The property we will be staying in on Grímsey is ideally located close to the bird cliffs. It is clean & simple. We have chosen to base this workshop on the island for six days & five nights; this will give participants the freedom & flexibility to photograph wherever, whenever, & whatever they choose during the 22 hours of daylight available each day.

Puffins on Skomer Island 2024

‘‘I joined the NaturesLens tour to Skomer Island to photograph the Puffin population there. The island and wildlife have a real wow factor themselves, but the professional yet relaxed approach taken by Natureslens guide, Robin, really made the experience. Robin was very attentive and generous in his advice, but there were also plenty of opportunities to do your own thing, to get the most out of your time. I will definitely be booking with NaturesLens again.’’

Eagles of Hortabagy 2023

“A wonderful trip! Robin the course leader was the perfect mix of helpful, informative and funny, whilst also knowing when to let you just get on. The food and accommodation was great, especially the showers. As always on these kinds of trips, it's the birds and fellow photographers that make the trip memorable. Both of which were absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend it..”
